Naruto card values: old Naruto CCG cards vs the new NARUTO CARD GAME
Two Bandai generations share characters, but not rules or a single market. Real card photographs, a completed Sasuke sale and identifiable listings explain how to compare copies without confusing collectible lines.

Finding an old Naruto binder raises two questions: what are these cards, and what might they be worth? Bandai’s new NARUTO CARD GAME adds another: can they be used in the June 2027 game? The characters are familiar, but the collections and rules are different. Information reviewed October 21, 2026.
Two generations, different starting points
The original English Naruto CCG ran from 2006 to 2013. Its cards remain interesting for artwork, editions, memories and play under the old rules. The end of publication does not make them unusable, but they are not cards for the new system.
Bandai announces Naruto, Sasuke and Gaara starters and Booster Pack 01, Enter: NARUTO UZUMAKI!, for June 2027. Physical CP-001 event promos already exist; they are not evidence that the first retail booster set has launched.
| Aspect | Classic Naruto CCG | New NARUTO CARD GAME |
|---|---|---|
| Era | 2006–2013 English game | Retail launch: June 2027 |
| Visual example | Naruto Uzumaki 001 · The Path to Hokage | CP-001 Chakra Card · event promo |
| Play | Original rules | New Leader, Chakra and Summon system |
| Prices | Match card, edition, condition and grade | Match promo variant and segment |
| Compatibility | Not usable in new decks | Not an expansion of the old CCG |

Identify the collection before the price
Read the full product name, number, edition and language. The old photograph shows Naruto Uzumaki 001; the new card says CHAKRA CARD, CP-001. A copyright year alone does not establish a copy’s release date.
Bandai, Naruto and 2007 are not enough to identify the English CCG. A Naruto Uzumaki #002 found in searches is labelled DCD Naruto Shippuden, Ultimate Formation Ch. 1 on its PSA holder. It belongs to another line, so it must not serve as an English CCG price comparison. Kayou and Mythos also need separate identification.
A completed sale: Sasuke PR068 at $11.50
eBay item 366551072954 records Sasuke Uchiha PR068, Shonen Jump May 2011, sold July 25, 2026 for $11.50 with 11 bids. The seller describes it as ungraded, Very good. This is the item amount, not a delivered total including taxes and shipping.

One result does not establish every PR068’s value, especially a PSA 10 copy. It does show why an identifiable completed transaction is more useful than an impressive number without context. The card’s condition and photographs belong with its price.
A $249.99 listing is a different kind of evidence
eBay item 168589277153 shows Naruto Uzumaki 001, The Path to Hokage, offered at $249.99 or Best Offer. Its seller describes an ungraded, Lightly played, Unlimited copy. That is an asking price on the consulted page, not a verified sale; availability may change.
We do not calculate a value multiple between that Naruto and the Sasuke sale: they are different cards and different transaction states. Find several completed results for the same version and condition. An accepted Best Offer can also leave the actual amount undisclosed.
Grading evaluates a copy, not every matching image
A PSA 10 grade belongs to one physical example. Surface, edges, corners, centering, language and edition matter. A matching illustration does not make a binder copy worth a PSA 10 asking price. Consider identification, condition, costs and your collecting goals before grading; neither the grade nor recovery of the expense is guaranteed.
Modern CP-001 variants have their own market
Gen Con, Yankees and unstamped event promos are tracked separately. Separate raw and PSA 10 too. Listing counts do not measure the print run or number of owners.

Use our market pages for dated, segmented references instead of treating this article as a live quotation. An eBay listing median describes asking prices. TCGplayer Market Price follows a transaction-based methodology and is not the same measure as eBay’s lowest listing or a guaranteed available offer.
What a new launch might change
A new game may introduce collectors to older products, but it does not prove rising demand or future prices for individual cards. Completing an old set and starting a new game are different goals. Identify what you own, compare like-for-like evidence and choose the experience you want, rather than letting the highest listing define the collection.
