NARUTO CARD GAME at Lucca: another chance to play

Lucca opens on October 28. Before giving up on a demo or a playmat, here is how to check the organiser’s waiting list and understand reservations released during the event.

Arriving at a convention excited to discover a game, only to find the booking windows full, can be discouraging. Before writing off NARUTO CARD GAME at Lucca, however, it helps to distinguish a confirmed place from the alternatives described by the organiser. Those alternatives are useful planning information, not a guaranteed way in.

On October 27 we checked Play-System’s waiting-list checker. It lets visitors look up their demo reservation and associated position using their Bandai Membership Number. We have not established when the tool first appeared; this is a practical guide to what is available before the show.

Check with your complete Bandai number

Enter the full membership number on the organiser’s page, including leading zeroes. Treat the result as a view of the list imported by staff, rather than a promise of admission. Recent cancellations, new registrations or changes may not yet be reflected.

The checker states that lists are updated on Tuesday and Friday mornings, with a final update scheduled for October 30. If your latest change is missing, this delay may explain it. Recheck the particular session before changing travel plans.

An empty seat can change the next session

The organiser describes a waiting list for each tutorial. If a booked participant is absent when it begins, their place may go to the first available person on that list. Arriving in good time and following staff instructions therefore matters whether you have a confirmed reservation or are waiting for a vacancy.

This is not an announcement of extra capacity. Nor is it a reason to make multiple reservations: participation is limited to one tutorial per person throughout the show. A booking, a waiting-list position and actual admission are different things.

Playmats follow a separate reservation process

A tutorial place and a playmat purchase are not the same booking. Play-System says playmats released by cancellations or no-shows may be made available on its playmat reservation page from approximately 17:00 on each event day, subject to availability.

This does not announce a fresh stock delivery or a free giveaway. It is a possible second opportunity to reserve a purchase for on-site collection. No released quantity is guaranteed, and reserving a product does not grant a seat at a demo.

The programme runs October 28–November 1 at Piazza Santa Maria. Festival admission is separate from activity bookings. Check Bandai’s participation-gift conditions, including its TCG+ channel and survey requirements: being on a waiting list does not itself entitle you to a promo.

There is more to the visit than a sold-out label

For new collectors, the interesting connection is between an object and an experience. A promo can recall a first game, but visiting also means learning mechanics, asking questions and meeting future opponents. Treating the whole visit as a hunt for one item overlooks that community-building moment.

Booking systems and waiting lists do not reveal print runs, sales totals or future prices. Without capacity and demand figures, they cannot quantify commercial success. What a useful guide can do is explain the available steps and help readers decide whether those steps fit their plans.

Before leaving, check your status, save the correct links and look for changes. You can prepare with our rules, try the online demo or consult the event page.
