Naruto Card Game comes to Europe: where to play and how to obtain CP-001
Essen, Paris and Lucca offer a first encounter with Bandai’s game. Here are the tutorial requirements, promotional card conditions and Lucca playmat booking dates starting on October 21.
In this article
European fans will soon be able to try NARUTO CARD GAME before its retail launch. Three conventions are hosting tutorials with demonstration decks, while eligible participants can receive the CP-001 Chakra Card. A first game can be a chance to meet fellow collectors as well as discover the mechanics.
Convention admission, tutorial registration and playmat purchases are separate arrangements. Walking into the venue does not guarantee a tutorial seat or a promotional card. This guide reflects Bandai’s information checked on October 18, 2026.
Essen and Paris: October 22–25
SPIEL Essen runs at Messe Essen, with the game at H5 J500. Paris Games Week takes place on the same dates at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, booth E8. Tutorials are free, but convention admission is required.
Registration opened on October 14 through the pages linked by Bandai. Check current availability rather than assuming seats remain. Participation is limited to one tutorial per person during each event; attempts to bypass the limit may lead to exclusion.
How the promotional card is distributed
Bandai lists CP-001 as a tutorial participant gift. Essen and Paris also require registration with the NARUTO TCG UPDATES CHANNEL on BANDAI TCG+ and completion of a post-session survey. Participation gifts are limited to one per person.
The card is not simply a walk-by giveaway. Prepare your account and follow staff instructions. Demonstration decks cannot be taken home. The reviewed sources do not establish a print run or a new convention-exclusive CP-001 variant.

The playmat is a separate purchase
The announced Official Playmat is “Arriving in 2027”. Bandai displays $35 plus tax, a reference that should not be presented as a confirmed final euro price. It is separate from the promotional card.
At Essen, tutorial participants receive purchase eligibility for their session day. Paris uses first-come, first-served sales subject to a daily allocation. The limit is one per person, with limited quantities each day.

Lucca: bookings begin on October 21
Lucca Comics & Games runs October 28–November 1 at Piazza Santa Maria. Eligible tutorial participants are offered CP-001 and a sticker, with the channel registration and survey requirements. Tutorial registration opened on October 14; check the official link for availability.
Playmat tickets reserve an on-site purchase time slot, not a tutorial seat. One playmat may be reserved per person during the event. Bookings open one week before each event day:
- October 21 → October 28 purchase.
- October 22 → October 29 purchase.
- October 23 → October 30 purchase.
- October 24 → October 31 purchase.
- October 25 → November 1 purchase.
Plan the visit before travelling
Confirm convention admission and your tutorial reservation, then review gift requirements and the separate merchandise process. No opening time for Lucca playmat bookings has been confirmed here; consult Bandai’s linked ticket system.
The appeal goes beyond a souvenir: learning the game at a shared table can help you decide whether you want to keep playing. CP-001 can mark that first encounter without implying future scarcity or financial performance.
