NARUTO CARD GAME reaches Essen and Paris: Europe gets hands-on

Official tutorials run October 22–25 ahead of the retail launch. How admission, CP-001 gifts and playmat purchases work, and why repeat play matters more than launch excitement alone.

NARUTO CARD GAME reaches Essen and Paris: Europe gets hands-on

SPIEL Essen and Paris Games Week begin their October 22–25 programmes today. NARUTO CARD GAME tutorials offer a hands-on introduction before the planned June 2027 retail launch. This is a chance to try the system, not evidence that the first commercial booster is already on sale.

Essen: H5 J500

The German stop is at Messe Essen, H5 J500. Tutorials are advertised as free, but fair admission is required separately. Registration opened October 14 through the system linked by Bandai. We do not confirm remaining seats. Participation is limited to one tutorial per person, and demo decks cannot be taken home.

Paris: booth E8

The French venue is Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, booth E8. A fair ticket and the appropriate tutorial booking are required. The two events share dates, not one shared registration.

CP-001 gifts require joining NARUTO TCG UPDATES CHANNEL on TCG+ and completing the post-session survey. The promotional allocation is limited to one per person. Stickers have a separate giveaway route through official social follows or the channel.

A playmat is not an attendance gift

Both fairs restrict playmat purchases to tutorial participants, with eligibility valid only on their session day. Quantities are limited. Paris specifically describes first-come allocation subject to daily availability. Attendance does not guarantee stock.

Bandai’s pages display a USD 35 plus tax reference, which we do not treat as a confirmed final euro price at these stands. Lucca’s EUR 42.90 price belongs to another event’s purchase system and should not automatically be transferred here.

From collector interest to returning players

Lucca’s filled booking windows show that some accessory allocations attract interest. Demo tables test something different: whether people enjoy the rules and want another game. Public attendance, occupancy and satisfaction figures for these sessions have not been verified.

Our interpretation is that a lasting launch needs both collector appeal and repeat play. Art can draw attention, while regular groups need understandable rules, opponents, store support and available products. A convention weekend cannot settle all those questions.

Watch for local groups, future store demos and continued participation after retail release. These would be more useful signs than extrapolating future prices or booster shortages from a playmat. Official programme checked October 22, 2026; this report does not claim unverified crowd figures or firsthand attendance.
