Jiraiya — the Toad Sage, one of the Legendary Sannin and Naruto's mentor — gets the most explosive illustration of the first batch: caught mid-action with a grin, his horned forehead protector with the "oil" kanji on display, one hand reaching out of the frame against a blast of yellow and orange. The card reads "Special / Hidden Leaf Village".
The layered, almost graffiti-like brushwork is a fine example of the original-illustration side of the game's art program. Sample frame values DMG 3 / POW 6 / HP 6, SAMPLE watermark, still under development.
